Some things are legendary here at Tango Down, such as Trademark winning a Black Ops Jeep and Ironman’s routine 70-1 games. However, Lare’s classic battle cries of “Ah, COME ON!” and “shootin’ through t-shirts” ring through the hallowed halls of TDG with even greater mystique and intrigue. While the verbal portion of his rage is G-Rated, the behind the scenes action is anything but. Numerous controllers, headsets, and other accessories have met an untimely death in his torture chamber, err… game room. However, not all of them are a result of being thrown across the room or stomped on the ground. On the contrary, most of the product failures are a direct result of Lare’s aggressive game play style.
One look at his calloused left thumb and it’s obvious Lare means business when he games. He is always on the move when playing COD and is rarely found standing in a doorway (ask Recon for details if needed). However, first person shooters are only one aspect of his gaming repertoire. Just ask Justice God, Johnny Boy, Boogie, or Drunk about Lare’s insane drumming on Rock Band. In fact, Lare is most likely hands-down the best drummer in TDG by a mile. He is also an extremely talented guitar player and is among the best there is here at Tango Down.
So where do we begin? Well, let’s start with Lare’s career stats for XBL equipment. While the numbers may not be 100% accurate, they are most likely on the conservative side as many items have been tossed into the trash over the years. So without further ado, here we go…
Lare’s Overall Product Failure Stats
- 10+ Microphones (Tritton)
- 7+ Controllers (Microsoft, Razer, GameStop, Mad Catz, Afterglow)
- 4 Headphones (Tritton AX 360, 720, and Blops special edition; Turtle Beach)
- 4 Foot Pedals (Ion, Rock Band, Agptek, Mad Catz)
- 3 Modem/Routers
- 2 – Drumsticks
What is not represented above is the actual number of products purchased. For example, Lare has several Rock Band guitars as well as other various accessories which are still in working order. He has also been through several gameboxes over the years and has donated/sold various components to several members here at TDG. Not to mention that he once purchased a new game and shipped it to another member that was experiencing financial hardship. But Lare’s generosity requires it’s own post, so I will stick with his wrath of destruction for now.
The “Graveyard”

So the next time you fire up your gamebox, please take a moment of silence to remember the accessories that have given the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow TDG members. And before you start belly aching about lag and connection issues, you better have the worn out accessories to prove your online dedication.
Ok troops, let’s do this… grab your controller and game like you mean it!
Sarge out.

EPIC HULK SMASH!!!
The only details one would need is, “Don’t do it.”
