Attention New Recruits!

Below is the process you will follow to obtain full membership within the Tango Down clan. PM me if you have questions. That is all.

1. After you sign up to the site, you'll have "Recruit Status" which enables you to view the home page, the announcements forum, and the unit regs forum. You can also view and post in Off Topic. There are numerous forums that you will gain access to if you are accepted to the clan. This is just an area for recruits to post in prior to earining clan member status.

2. TDG is looking for active members! We want to make sure you're in the right place, and want you to have a chance to meet our members. During the first few weeks of your recruit-ness, if you don't visit the site for 7 straight days we'll assume you're not interested in the clan anymore and will remove your account. Also, we'd like for you to jump into the forums and start getting to know everybody. We would like for you to post at least 15 times in the first 15 days. This will enable to you meet some members, set up games, and get to know who we are.

3. We're a different kind of clan - we are here just for fun! It's rare that these things happen, but if you get an unfavorable review (pm to a CO from a member - bad feedback from a member, etc) within the first 30 days we'll remove your account.

4. We're gamers - let's game! We'll pm you with a game-night reminder if you haven't been gaming with the clan. We'd like for you to game with the clan at least 2 times in the first 10 days so that you can experience what TDG has to offer, and so we can make sure that we're a good fit for each other.

5. In addition - we've put together some "TDG Orientations" to help you get a feel for who we are, where we come from, and what we're all about. Please sign up for an orientation session...you'll need to have attended one to get into the clan.

If you've shown that you're going to be an active member - as described above - you'll be promoted to Private First Class and be given read and post priveledges to all forums.

After you've been promoted to PFC and serve for 30 days, if you are nominated and seconded by two clan Commissioned Officers and approved by the Generals, you'll be promoted to Lance Corporal, and will then have all of the rights and priveledges of a TangoDown clan member.
